Karachi (17th October, 2022): Management of Sindh Transmission & Dispatch Company welcomed the delegation from Embassy of Denmark in Pakistan accompanying Ambassador H.E. Mr. Jakob Linulf, Mr. Saleem Anwar (Head of Communications & Projects) and Executives of Danish Energy Agency, Centre for Global Cooperation Agency Mr. Ulrik Eversbusch (Director), Mr. Nadeem Niwaz (Special Advisor), & Ms. Marie Bredkjaer Thomsen (Advisor).
The dialogues were carried between both sides to discuss the energy situation in Pakistan. The core focus of the meeting was to deliberate the scope of the renewable energy resources in province of Sindh and their efficient integration in the energy grids.

The CEO-STDC briefed the participants that STDC has been given the mandate to provide the power supply for K-IV project through HESCO by Government of Sindh. In this regard HESCO agreed to provide 50 MW power supply to K-IV pumping station through STDC grid and transmission line network.

وزیراعظم پاکستان کے معاون خصوصی برائے پیٹرولیم ندیم بابر نے آج محکمہ توانائی سندھ کے دفتر میں سندھ کے وزیر توانائی امتیاز احمد شیخ سے ملاقات کی اور سندھ میں بجلی، گیس اور توانائی کے دیگر متعلقہ امور اور سندھ میں جاری اور آئندہ شروع ہونے والے توانائی کے منصوبوں پر تفصیلی تبادلۂ خیال کیا۔ وفاقی سیکریٹری پیٹرولیم پاکستان اسد حیاالدین اور سندھ کے سیکریٹری توانائی طارق علی شاہ بھی اس ملاقات میں موجود تھے۔ ملاقات کے دوران گیس اور بالخصوص آر ایل این جی (RLNG)کی قیمتوں کے بارے میں گفتگو بھی ہوئی۔
اس موقع پر وزیر توانائی سندھ امتیاز احمد شیخ نے آئین کے آرٹیکل 158 کے حوالے سے سندھ میں پیدا ہونے والی گیس کے سندھ حکومت کی ضرورت کے مطابق حصول کے لئے سندھ حکومت کے دیرینہ موقف کو دہرایا۔ جس پر دونوں جانب سے مسائل کو باہمی مشاورت سے حل کرنے پر اتفاق کیا گیا۔ اجلاس کے بعد وزیر اعظم کے معاونِ خصوصی برائے پیٹرولیم ندیم بابر نے وزیر توانائی سندھ امتیاز شیخ ، سیکریٹری پیٹرولیم پاکستان اسد حیاالدین, سليم شيخ اور سیکریٹری توانائی سندھ سید طارق علی شاہ کے ہمراہ سندھ ٹرانمیشن اینڈ ڈسپیچ کمپنی ( STDC ) اور محکمۂ توانائی سندھ کے دفاتر کے مختلف شعبوں کا دورہ بھی کیا اور محکمۂ توانائی سندھ کی کارکردگی اور دفاتر کے ماحول کو سراہا۔
